HOW TO CREATE YOUR POSTER IN ADOBE DRAW
1. Tape your sketch to a window. Attach another photo over it. Trace with sharpie as neatly as you can.
2. Here I am pointing out a mistake that I made. (I will fix this in step 5)
3. Photograph your sharpie drawing.
4. Edit your photo in the camera app so that it is high contrast with just black and white.
5. Now you can fix your mistakes. On an iPhone, select edit in top right. Then select the 3 dots in top right. Next select markup. I used white to color over my mistake. I then saved this new image to my camera roll.
6. Open the Adobe Capture app. Select the image icon in the bottom right. Select "Camera Roll" and locate your final, edited sharpie drawing. You can move the blue slider at the bottom to see how it changes your drawing. Select the checkmark once you see what you like. Where it says "SAVE TO" it should say "My Library". If it does then press "Save".
7. Open the Adobe Draw app. Click the + within the orange circle in the bottom right corner. Select the "Tabloid (Portrait) 11x17" option.
8. Select the triangle and circle at the top. Then select "My Library". Your sketch will be saved here. Select your sketch.
9. Gently pinch to size the artwork to be the size you wish. Once it is the correct size you can press down on one of the grayed out lines and the image will appear black.
10. If you would like your poster to have the handdrawn quality that the Slinky Dog poster has you can color it like the video link below. If you would prefer to just press and hold and fill in the shapes like you did for your ivy you may do that as well.
11. After you have completed coloring the image in you can add a background color. To do so add a new layer and then drag it to be between the colored in drawing and the white background layer. Select the color that you want and then press and hold on the new layer to fill it in.
12. Now it is time to save your image. Select the arrow and square icon at the top. Then select "Save Image"
13. You can now bring the image back into the Camera app to add the title of the movie.
